Garment Care

For us there is nothing better than using the crispest cottons, softest cotton blends and finest first grade chiffons for you to wear over and over again.

The care instructions on our garments’ labels will give you advice on how to best care for your garment, making sure that they remain long-loved favourites for years to come.

Cotton / Viscose / Blends

Comfortable and versatile, we use cotton in countless ways to create different textures and tactile finishes. Whether it’s soft and stretchy cotton jersey, sheer and fine woven cotton, or crisp and papery cotton poplin, we think that cotton is the perfect foundation for any wardrobe. Easy to care for, cotton is fully machine washable and if worn and treated with care, will last for a long time.

African Cotton

Fluid and soft, silk is used often in our collections, because we like the way it feels, moves and drapes. As a naturally delicate fabric, we suggest that you always take care when you wear it and either have it professionally cleaned or wash by hand with mild detergent specially for silk as normal detergent can destroy the silk fibres.

Scuba

Made from a mix of synthetic fibres, this is a padded, foamy fabric that we call ‘scuba’ because it reminds us of neoprene scuba diving suits. A striking, modern fabric, it creates a structured silhouette whilst being soft and comfortable to wear. To ensure it maintains its shape, we would advise that you have it professionally cleaned.
